PDR for me is the opposite. Don’t have it. Don’t need it. That’s why we are different and interesting.

If the ZL1 1LE came with a bump in hp/tq or some other cool feature not in the standard ZL1 then I would want one. But as it is it doesn't so I don't.

I am a Track Rat and went from Modified 2013 ZL1 (daily summer driven) to a 18 ZL1 1LE. I know every one says it, but i must say it again... I do miss the softer Touring mode on the original ZL1. That said it is the only thing i miss... The very first thing i purchased was road wheels and tires. I went with Firestone Indy 500's. This helped the ride, cold and wet traction, and just made the car more "daily". I sprung for the PDR because as a true track rat I like to revue my Video's and see where I can improve. Its for my use so quality don't really matter. If i want to post videos to youtube and show friends i have gopro's for that. Now This car turns heads! More so than a non 1LE. So expect to answer questions at every petrol station. (I'm sure the novelty will wear off in a year, after all its a camaro not a Lambo) The benefit of adjusting the suspension adds cool factor but lets be honest, once you get it where you like it... you'll never want to touch it again. To me the car feels under powered for the amount of grip you have...
If there is one thing GM could of done to really make the car Stand out, they should of put a factory cold air on it and given it the ability to run E85 for that extra 30HP that you could tap in to at the track.

Does the 1LE sit lower to the ground than the ZL1? I already have to be very careful coming up my driveway. I know it is adjustable, but didn't realize those adjustments make the car lower as someone suggested?

Yes it's it's lower because the tire diameter is shorter the front suspension is height adjustable if you leave it in the highest settings most don't have any problems

I am using MRR reproductions with some Nitto G2. I treat the tires as they should be and haven't had an issue.

Also,
Coming from the Mustang world, and being in Tampa, which has the highest concentration of boosted coyote's in the damn country, I wanted something no one else has. There is two, that I can find, in my area, of the ZL1 1LE. No one has it. Those who know, know. Those who don't, think I had a field day at Pep Boys.

Did the opposite, went from zl1 1le to regular zl1. 100 miles a day on rough roads made the decision.

falling off from windshield mount or worried about it falling off when it was outside the car. Dont think the video quality is that bad on the PDR. Its not a deal breaker if a car doesnt have one but glad I waited to purchase car with the PDR. My .02 cents

I think it be a bad ass swap but unless you sold car out right you probably break even in money loss just buying all the 1le parts lol What I mean is lets say you took a 6 to 7k upside down trade getting into the new car.. then the 1le pkg on a Zl1 is what 6 or 7? thats 12 to 14k more.. keep what ya got the 1le aero kit is 4k if you swap smart, rims are 2500 or the reproduction MRR 1200, ( sell yours for 2k w tires if in good shape) the suspension stuff is 5k shopping hard.. you sell sway bar and other stuff to SS or rs ( so that helps).. come out a tad better. not to mention you may have a great APR now.. that may not be on the new deal.. just some helpful info!

I thought you couldn't buy the magnetic shocks on the regular market.
