My first thought is I don't need the Dominator really but if anyone here can educate me why it would be an advantage I sure would. Rather spend it somewhere else actually.

dominator allows 2 widebands. dominator can CONTROL drive by wire throttle bodies hp has 4 I/O. Dominator has 36 I/O If those are desireable..... you may want a Dominator. If not.... go with the HP

If your the type that constantly likes to modify your car the more inputs and outputs the better. An extra $1k isn’t much in the big picture. If you like data those inputs can go fast.

While I'm making plans for this project I have decided to do LT4 fuel and 525 lowside on my DD 5.3 Whippled work truck, like quickly. Would it be safe to run say 12 lbs on full E85 with sbe? Sam Miller at AMP is my tuner.

this truck made 626/638 rwhp on 93 + meth (would I was rate as comparable to e85) on 14 lbs of boost throuhg a 2.9L whipple with long tube headers and circle d 3200 converter. So if you have more supporting mods than that (say throttle body mainly), you are easily going to hit the 625 rwhp mark I think. a 525 will just about be borderline, I think. 10 lbs, you will be safe.

I'm running Haltech it has 2 widebands or 1 however you want to set it up.. heck you can get crazy and weld individual bungs on all the exhaust manifolds if ya want! I would ck with the tuner on what stand alone computer to buy.. Haltech, Holley, EFI.. many to choose from.
Fueling options non meth route... Port method what I did. 800 to 1200hp plus full e85 sitting at 1044 due to stock block.. If your blower doesn't have port injectors you can use plates that mount between the heads and blower. $4800 2650 Edelbrock $8.00 NGK 6510 plugs $1000 Porting $650 crawfords drilling work and mounting port rails $800 lD1050x $300 DSX flex sensor kit $600 TSP headers $450 LPE Cam $130 C5/7R timing chain $1000 Livernois Heads $300 ARP LT Head Studs $150 LS Hyd lifter/trays $100 Push rods $185 CHE trunion upgrade $95 LT4 Head Gaskets $300 kaytec valley cover $30 Cam phase lock $6 water pump gaskets $10 silicone grey $350 ATI balancer $110 blower ring $2500 Haltech EMS $500 various lines/fittings for port $400/550 lowside pump 380LPE AEM or Holley Dominator pump Or $2500 for Fore lowside (kinda over kill since your just running port assist but some do not want a hole in there tank) If your a good shopper you can find those prices like me. the shop labor and tune is the variable. This will get ya the 1200 plus on a 2650 on all E85. 800 plus on stock blower use the new spacer blocks that came out that fit under the lt4 blower that hold port injectors. I believe they are made out of space age plastic lol so there also a thermal barrier or the aluminum work fine that been out for while works to. LPE Big Bore pump DI setup and there 1000 hp builds 850 rwhp 93 e85 930 hp (Good lowside with 80 psi plus under load is key with all new -8AN lines an a Less restrictive ck valve are the key ( NOT A DSX OR SMG AUX PUMP a real return style) and proper spacing of there pump is a MUST!!!!!) Edelbrock 2650 NGK 6510 plugs Kooks or ARH headers $500 Big Gulp $650 LPE 103 TB $1600 CNCLT4 LPE Heads $115 Cometic head gaskets to lower compression $200 CHE trunion upgrade $535 GT31 LPE Cam L210356914 42% lobe $490 L230075897 Comps Cams Spring kit (they come on the heads installed) $1695 LPE Big Bore Pump L710166914 $2500 30% XDI Injectors on sale at other places $4400 Lingenfelter L730136927 K-DI Injectors 52% over LT4s $200 L750067414 LPE Ck valve Intank pumps similar to fore they build there own (classified) $DSX flex sensor $450 LPE/ATI balancer $115 LPE/ATI blower ring XDI Direct injection katech 800 to 1200 hp (hp depends on your FI type) Basically your running an extra belt driven LT4 HPFP of serpentine belt. It makes perfect sense.. if one pump can do 700 now 2 pumps can do 1400.. just increase the injector size now.. OEM bower, 2650, Twin Turbo, or Centri NGK plugs Arh or Kooks 103MM TB / 112MM TB Rotofab Big Gulp Cam (at least a 32% maybe even a 38%) Heads Trunion upgrade $4800 XDI pump belt driven $2500 XDI 30% injectors (1000hp) $3XXX XDI 45% injectors (1067 hp) $4000 XDI 65% injectors (1200 hp plus) $2500 Fore System return style $300 DSX Flex sensor Here are the options enjoy!!!

Ted why do you not mess with adding port injection to a DI motor. Just wondering why you do not have any builds or videos of you tuning them. L I know the XDI offers plenty of fuel but what about people like myself that didn't want to spend 14k in parts. I realize it's probably more stockish in appearance and easier to tune and setup. But port makes sense and even using parts like Haltech and Injector Dynamics the price is so much more affordable. The lowside doesnt have to be powerful since it's operating at a lower psi and so on. Just seems really beneficial. Anyhow just wondering has No one come to you and asked for a port setup or do you tell them to do an XDI setup and not mess with it?
