You can do silly stuff like remove one of the two horns, put the windshield washer bottle into the trunk. BMR mounts, no strut bar (don't know if the 1LE has one).

I didn't think about the exhaust components. How much weight would you expect to shave going from the stock headers plus cats to long tubes plus green cats? I wouldn't think it would be too much.

the stock exhaust stuff is heavy, so say all stock stuff and 4 cats and the front hanger (removed when you go LT) to LT and off road pipe 20 lbs.
5 lbs engine mounts
3 lbs horn and beauty covers
2lbs by moving the windshield washer to the trunk, maybe more if filled up. One wing radiator and hoses 10 lbs _ coolant ff the very front.
A couple of pounds from all the shrouds that get tossed.

Sorry but that's pretty close to what it weighed. Packed with foam and two big box only weighed 120. I suppose once you get the coolant in it which makes it a little heavier, but Maggie itself is the heaviest of all, heat exchanger is aluminum, hoses, bolts. I have it off the car right now so I'll weigh it.

Supercharger weighs 55 lbs, So, pretty darn close to what I said with the stuff you take off and stuff you add on. I'll still say 60 lbs added over stock and my car only weighed 3640 with the supercharger and drag pack and less then 1/2 tank of fuel at Bowling Green last year with full weight interior.

Here is what really matters, straight off the trailer with 60 lbs added to the front I ran 10.91@129.88 on 6.5 lbs of boost on Magnusons handheld SCT tuner. I think that's pretty stout and ran a best of 10.82@129 that same day on 93 octane pump gas with stock transmission and stock motor and then put the street tires on when I got home and got 25 mpg going to work on Monday. Many things have changed since then but weight is not always a detriment to performance

Can't argue with that! 60 lbs net change is pretty good for the power it adds.

This is the info I was looking for, thank you sir!

As for the actual performance, high 10's @ almost 130 is F'ing awesome!

It'd be awesome if one of the shops on here could post the weights for each of the popular superchargers. I've had this same question myself as I kick around the idea of upgrading from the 1.7 to the 2.3. I track my car so I think going backwards could be a real risk.

And it is an Auto Transmission.
Manuals should weigh less - Not sure how much though...

There is just a lot of "stuff" on the driver's side and the radiator gets move anyway. I will build a cool air induction system and a heat shield between the driver's side header and the intake system. I have all the sheet steel, just no motivation yet. It will duct air from the driver's side radiator inlet, I 'll block the extractor in back of the radiator into the wheel housing.

Are you guys pulling that DS aux radiator on an Air-to-air/centrifugal setup, or with the Maggie too?

Does the Maggie have an Air/Water coolant reservoir? The Whipple may be the heaviest with the metal lid, AWIC, leaving the aux radiator, and almost 3 gallons of coolant for the AWIC system with the bumper mounted tank.

My Whipple 1LE is heavy, but I haven't weighed it with the blower. It was 3,663 stock - so heavier than Laynlo's car, but it's a SS 1LE so the eLSD, wheels, brakes, etc all add up.
