Not the best day for racergirl...

I was bringing my friend home Friday night and I was in the right lane. I was along side of a V8 Titan (left lane). I was literally right next to the truck, passing it up. From the corner of my eye, I saw the truck getting real close to my lane, and before I could even think, the lady driving the truck runs into me. Thank goodness, everyone was ok. Can't say the same about my car...

Thank you. It's in my dad's body shop right now. $6000 in damage, the truck has about $1200 in damage.

Thanks. I was mad and upset all at the same time. We both pulled on to a street, and when I saw the damage done, I cried. The lady admitted fault, but she didn't wanna call the cops.

One thing I have learned, when the other person doesnt wanna call the police, its usually because they are trying to get out of paying for it...

My Silverado was hit in the front driver's corner once, other guy ran a red light....cops came out and wouldn't even file a report...said "We weren't here to see it, so we aren't filing a report". I was pissed, and ended up having to fix my truck on my own dime....

That sucks, but at least cars can be repaired/replaced.

Thankfully you didn't swerve or anything. Sometimes bad reactions have a lot more negative impact or a vehicle or a persons life then limited/no reaction.

I hadn't even had my car back but for two weeks. I got some dings and scratches. That's what living at college does to it. And I washed my car that day too.

Everytime I wash a vehicle, something bad happens. Even when I "think" about washing my truck, rain will come out of nowhere...lol

Wow. Cops can be real jerks. The lady that hit me was driving without a license. I called my dad right away and he was close by, so he came to the rescue. And when he checked out the damage, it was too much to not call the cops.
