its fine and gives you a sort of mild to wild controller...just straight exhaust that dumps out after the cats and loud or a very quiet mild catback

I have those same cutouts installed in the same place. Yes, there a blast and will completely change the sound of the car. You will not gain any HP or TQ. In fact, on my car, it actually feels like you lose some TQ with them fully open. This is just a feeling and I have no evidence to back this up.

If your going to get cutouts, I would get the ones from QTP. I was originally going with DMH, but my shop informed me that they have been having problems with them again and were going to change over to QTP. Something to think about. Also, the QTP cutouts use a bigger switch vs. the low profile switch of the DMH cutouts. So if you planed to install the switch in your console power port, your going to have to change locations or get another switch.

I would say the only way you will make power by adding these are if you move/put them in front of your Cats. So when its open its free.. but seeing how your cats are so close good luck with moving them back to put the cutouts on!!

I bought some Noweeds cutouts, have yet to install them. They did dyno test with them open and closed. You gain about 18 RWHP with them open on a L99. Of course these were also ones that were cut to fit. Mine that I bought match right up to my ARH LT's. Thought I'd share that.

I just sent an email to NOWEEDS as to their Cutouts. This seems the way to go as you have zero welding which in my opinion is huge considering the ease of install and not having to find or worry about a good installer.

They are more than double the price of QTP's.

We are thinking of putting these on th NAPA Camaro.

Will keep up to date on this.

Ya I am interested in a no weld solution. Do you just cut out a section of pipe and slide them on?

Here is their website with a video showing a complete install.

Looks like the way to go in my opinion.
