Engine Swap.. or Trade in?

Doing some research and looking at some options for the future and would like some insight cause I barley know anything
right now i have a 2lt rs
awhile ago i had a chance to drive a supercharged ls3.
talked to a few people and came with some options
engine swap for a more powerful motor LSx or LS7
or trade it in. Anyone have any comments? doing some serious thinking and considering right now and Really need some advise.

Trade in too much money and hassle to do the engine swap.

Trade it in. You can't just throw an LS7 in there, you'll probably have to upgrade half the car in the process.

you have to consider more than just the engine, you have brakes to slow it down, transmission, suspension upgrade to handle the weight, and you will have to figure out the electronics swap. Trade and you will have one engineered for the power you are about to experience.

Trust everyone on this trade it in. It makes 0 sense financially to even bother doing a engine swap. Your car was designed for that V6 engine not the hp/torque of a V8. Lots of great used SS cars out there now to be had.

+1. Trade it in. You'd have to upgrade plenty of other parts to support an LSX or LS7.

Trade it in Correy. The SS is a better platform for a road racer. You can get a used SS ~25,000. Even less than that if they are out of warranty.

EDIT: DONT TRADE IT IN, SELL IT PRIVATELY.

Personally I would trade in. Engine swap is costly and you will never see that money back.

Trade it. It's not like a Honda where it's a weekend engine/gear swap.
