Got my car out of storage today & it's back home where it belongs. It was great to drive it home after 4 months parked in a strangers garage...

I need some advice guys.

I brought my rear wheel in to Grenier Chevrolet Terrebonne to repair a flat.
They mounted the mag backwards and made 2 decent sized scratches on the mag outside wall.
The director is only offering to pay 1/2 the repair since the mag had a little scratch on the outside lip from parking.

The response I got is:
$150 to paint 1 wheel, but they cannot guarantee the color, and so I have to paint all 4.
Meaning he wants me to pay 300$ of 600$.
Or, I know for a fact I can get another new mag from california (where I ordered it) for about $650 (dunno if there is room for negotiating).

I called chevrolet customer service and they will most likely contact the dealer but cannot make "any promises".

What are my options? Small claims court? Any other suggestions?

you should post a picture of the Wheel
its cost 100 to 175 to paint a wheels and thats real that they do not guarantee the color
depend of the Wheel color and if they are used the clear coat change over time
and some clear coat are more clear than the other

You only need to repaint the two on the same side.

Get touch up paint from where u got the wheels and have dealer do work and pay for paint

I had an abuse issue with CHRISTIN pointe aux trembles back when I had the v6... long story short they test drove(abusively) my car, took it to lunch, for about 40-45 kms... I even found skittles under my seat, I don't even eat this lol.

So I contacted chevy customer service; they ended up paying for both rear and front brake rotors and pads + labor because the fools at CHRISTIN had warped my brakes + god knows what else.

I say keep on pushing customer service reps, ask for escalation if it does not work; they will make it right... not like KIA who doesn't give a damn about calling back customers.

I DO NOT trust any chevrolet dealer in this province. If you no longer have a warranty there is no point in going anyway. If you have warranty work to do, make sure you do your research on which dealership to go to first. They can make your life HELL

Deschamps in Sainte-Julie is kinda OK. Never had any bad experiences there for my Vette and Camaro but this is minor change or warranty stuff. I had the same problem with a tire installer last year, they installed my 2 brand new Invos 315 and they didnt check the e-break cable clearance so they installed a valve which was way too long and rubbed while i was driving. Broke while i was on highway, flat tire resulted in a finished brand new invo at 400$+. Didnt even manage to give me a discount or anything on a new tire. Was so pissed.
