First, I'd have that dealer fix the gouge and don't contact by phone, go into them and talk to the service advisor. Second, yes take it to another dealer. 3rd, no you don't need to live with it;you have a warranty and it needs to be (not should) be fixed, even if it means replacing the tranny. 4th, if no progess, consult GM first, then an attorney if necessary.
