I was gonna mention that car. Seems like a great choice. They look really awesome, it would just have to be like a $10k discount to make it right IMO.

I thought about it some more and even tho at $61k I think it's a decent deal, I could spend a few more grand and prob find me a 1LE.

My buddy has a Roush Stage 3 and it's sick looking, but it's a dog. I rode with im a few times to play golf, he's like, watch this. Hammers it and I'm like, have we gone anywhere yet? haha. Nowhere close to the Zl1. But, anyhow. I'm not buying my 2nd car to wipe the streets with. Just want something clean and mean looking.
Roush cars are slow AF. super detuned. after having a ZL1 1LE for two weeks after i sold my white ZL1, I couldn't stand the car. funny though i see you're in an 18' C63, Well i ended up with a 17' C63S cab then did a ton of renntech stuff to it lol im also looking at used GT350's for a weekend fun car.

the C63 is the wife's car. yea, my buddy has a stage 3 roush, '17 year. It's a dog. I was just saying that Sledgehammer looked pretty sick. Saw another video of one stickering at $75k. smh. they high.

I'd rather get a Zl1 for $65k and drop $10k in mods. Wait......................

Am I wrong, or don't you have to spin the Mustang motors way up the rpm range for them to be fun? I've only driven the GT, but that was how it seemed to me.

That sounds more like a tune issue than anything else. They offer a warranty on those cars. So they probably detuned them because of that. If so then a simple remote tune from Lund or any of the top tuners should open it right up.

Yes. They need to spin because they make their HP in the upper RPM ranges. Which is why many people opt for a PD blower. Because it helps out more in the lower RPM ranges.

Oh alrighty, that's definitely an positive and the car is pretty unique. I'd consider it if I already had an Camaro.

True story - after I rented the SS for a week on vacation, when I got home I spent a day in my brothers ‘11 c63.

C63 felt oddly similar to the camaro. They were pretty much the same acceleration wise, and handlig at 5/10th.

Ok, thanks for responding on that. All my friends told me that I needed to drive the Mustang before I pulled the trigger on the Camaro, so for once I did what my friends said.

As I said, it was the GT and not the fancier 350. It was nice enough (although I thought the dash looked cheesy) but the immediate power wasn't there. If I spun it way up, it had good power, but my personal thinking was that there's no way I could keep the engine up in "the fun zone" during daily driving, and to do so would bring great risk to my license. The Camaro SS, on the other hand, had great low end power, so was more fun to drive at less than felony speeding speeds. Driving that GT convinced me that the Camaro was for me.

Of course this has almost nothing to do with the thread topic, so my apologies.

I know nothing about the option package, so to all my Ford peeps.

It's a new '18. It has the equipment group 900A.

Option list looks small, but then again, not sure how loaded you can get these things.

Has the Over the top racing stripe. $475. (It's a gray with the black stripe which is the only color I like on the 350).

Electronics Pkg. $3k.
Painted black roof. $695.

Sticker is $62k. So, at first glance, doesn't sound too bad for a new '18.

Let me know. Going in tonight to take a look.
Have you seen the new Hellcat Redeye? It seems like you like big HP cars, and I am not sure about the pricing here, but almost 800HP from the factory in a roomy more daily driveable car may be the ticket for you...

Yep, and it will be priced out for me. Besides, if I'm going to spend $80k, I'd just spend another $15k and get me a GTR so. But, I am liking what I'm seeing from Dodge.

I havent read this thread so not sure where you ended up but wanted to throw in my 2c..

Dude.. I traded in my GT350 on the ZL1.. I was terrified of that thing going pop at any second. Ford have replaced a ton of Voodoo motors and I havent even mentioned the bodywork. If I were to ever get a Mustang again, it's be a Coyote.

Another one bites the dust.

This is his second blown motor. Skip to about 9:50 to see the on track video. Nothing dramatic, it just let go.
