Camaro 15mpg-
Mustang 20mpg
My SS A8 smashes those #s with 27.
Are they dodging pedestrians pushing baby strollers?

It's funny. I drove a '16 2LT Stingray for 18 months, that had just about the same exact levels of 'visibility issues' as my '17 2SS 50th convertible does. How many times was that brought up in a review of the C7... almost never, chalk it up to "it's a sports car!".

The dude driving the SS must have had a REALLY heavy foot though. I get nearly 19 and I do like to rev it out, a lot.

I’m at 15 mpg. I drive it like Earnhardt. I’m sure I could get a lot better. MPG by a Prius. Baddest car on earth. Buy a Camaro.

...and instead complain about visibility with the top up.

They may have gotten 15 mpg because the SS was a manual (unlike the Mustang), plus they revved to 6k with every shift.

This is almost unbelievably bad fuel economy, I get on it literally every single trip and my average so far is 19.5.

I averaged 21.1 mpg over the last 9,700 miles with my daily driven A8 SS.

That was a mix of driving conditions with temperatures below zero to near 100 degrees.

Exactly, that's what I'm talking about (and my car is new, so I expect my mpg to improve a bit and edge closer to what you have). Something's fishy with those fuel economy results.

Huh. I commute about 110 miles a day and have averaged just under 23 (22.8) for 61,000 miles with a manual. I have gotten 31 and usually get 28 or better till I hit a street light of which there are about 20 on the way to work. And yes, I like to play. it's tooling around town on the weekends that pulls my average down from about 25-26.

The one BOZO in the vid must assume everyone driving a Camaro must be launching their cars out of every light and stop they come across I guess. Just doesn’t come across right when folks like you are getting much higher averages.
