What else would be good to grab for my cam install.

So simple question I got a GPI SS3 Cam kit on the way, has the c5r chain, everything basically I would need. My car already has Long Tube Headers and CAI. What else can I get for a reasonable price to squeeze a little more power out of it. Also should I invest in gauges ie wideband etc. or not? Would a full 3 inch exhaust help or not since I'm on factory pipes just straitpiped.

I'd do exhaust, look into a udp as above if you want but don't buy a cheap one. At I, fluidampr, powerbond what I'd look into. It won't gain you much at all but you're already taking it apart.

Looks like you are a 2010. There is power to be had in the UDP, especially if you have hydraulic power steering. I did not do it as I had electric power steering. I had Ryan do the rail mod when I did my SS1. Bo White may or may not be porting again, if he is get it while you can! might as well only tune the car once.
Obviously ported heads would be great, but probably outside of the budget.
A 160 Thermostat is debatable at this time, Ryan recommends one.

I highly recommend Ryan tuning the car! He does a great job. I am working on a trip back to Little Rock for a tune after my ADM LSA Conversion. (still have my SS1)

I would also do a catch can at this time if you don't have one... Help keep that new top end clean.

Most suggest a new oil pump at this time.

I've been thinking UDP but have been seeing some people saying that it's not really worth it. I was looking into the intake mod as well. As for exhaust I was thinking 3inch into Spintech mufflers if did that. I'll ask the shop doing my cam about a porting my heads. I'm getting the cam installed and tuned for $900.

That is cheap! Un-comfortably cheap.
You will likely see more seat of the pants power out of 3.91 gears vs the pulley.

Same goes for exhaust... If you can go catless you will like gain more power than HF Cats on 3"...

Yea I got a deal because a buddy of mine is friends with the owner haha. So do 3inch exhaust since I'm already straitpiped or leave it as is? And 3.91 gears....I was thinking of doing gears but can never find a shop that installed reasonably. And I've never done gears so I can't do it myself.

I would look at the Ported TB and Intake mode - So that you only have to tune once. I think there is more power to be had in the intake side vs the exhaust side.

Look up the Rick Crawford or GPI rail mod - they are the same. Essentially two stainless steel rods that are melted into the back of the intake manifold and bolted on the front.

I sold mine after the LSA Conversion. $300 mod unless you do it yourself. Expensive power compared to the price for your CAM.

Here is the thread of my for-sale thread...
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=467254

decent pic of the rail mod... would be easy to do for someone with the ability to weld stainless... Again a stainless rod with a nut welded onto it. Then run a bolt through the intake to the nut.
