Differential binding
Anyone feel like the rear diff is binding when just starting out on a cold night. Its 32 here in dfw and I rolled out of the driveway and it felt like the outside wheel was skipping. I have felt some weird things out of the Diff, just not sure if it's normal. Feels like I have a spool

Normal. Should actually be the inside wheel skipping - less weight on it in a turn and the outside wheel is trying to spin it faster through the turn.
Very noticable, especially with stock tires that have no traction in cold temps.

The tires being cold is part of this too. That soft rubber gets really hard when it's this cold and therefore, they lose grip and have a tendency to skip while turning.

Also the mode of the e-diff. changes this as well.
Sport mode uses a "more stable" setting, while track mode and any of the sub track modes uses a setting that focuses more on getting you around a corner in the quickest way and thus less binding. There are 4 e-diff modes total.
