Too funny Bro...and not being a "smart ass" but you do know that on the fuel gauge it shows an arrow for which side to fill up on? I did not realize this for quite some time.

That was my automotive discovery of the year 2018

What's more, it's the same on every GM car, which helps avoid embarrassment at the pump when switching cars frequently.

Wow! I learned of something tonight that I had never seen before! I didn’t think my 2017 had that but it does. Thanks for bringing that to our attention LT4 650!

Yeah I have done the same thing until I realize that the tank fill is on the passenger side. Actually a couple of times I stopped the engine and got out of the car only to realize that I was trying to fill up on the drivers side! Of the Camaros I have owned over the years since 1982, the tank fill up was on the drivers side. The 2010 SS though changed that thinking as well as the 2016 and the 2017 I have now.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who does this!

Here is mine at its 2nd favorite place. The Shell gas pump!

3rd gens were on the rear behind the flip-down license plate. I scavenged one from a u-pull-it & used it to hide the battery disconnect on my Mustang.

Hey gtfoxy, aren’t you thinking about the 2nd gens instead of the 3rd gens? The 2nd gens had the fuel fill under the license plate in the rear!
