As soon as they salt the roads the first time. I will not take it out until after a few spring rains clean the salt off the roads.

October-ish for me. I keep an eye on the weather forecast so that I can get her all cleaned-up and ready for her nap as I don't want to have to do that when it gets too cold. If the weather is nice the following few weeks or so, I'll take her out for a drive. Her hibernation ends around May 1st.

My bike goes in this cool room off the back of my garage. The Camaro goes in the garage and I can squeeze my Ram pickup in the garage also if we are going to get a big storm.

we had snow and they salted here in october this year and many others. We had 20 inches of snow on October 31st one year. Plus once it gets cold high rwhp does not do well lol. I have found in both november and april around here there are very few days that i can use the cars so its not worth paying insurance or registration for a full month for one or two days.

I winterize the bike and cover it mid to late Oct. Oil change, full tank with STA-BIL, chain cleaned and waxed, battery tender, and covered. This year was Oct 25, and a couple weeks later the temperature got to 70 on a weekend.

The Camaro gets covered late Nov, usually Thanksgiving week. So next week. It was 55 today, so took it for one of its last rides of the year after work (remotely from home). At 55 the traction really starts to go away. I stepped on it in 2nd gear on an on ramp and it just broke loose until the HUD lights started coming on.

I'm fortunate to have a sister-in-law 10 miles away with an extra garage space. That frees up my own garage so my daily driver MINI is out of the weather for a change. I'll leave the Camaro covered until the last week in Mar.

That is pretty cool... I wish I had a back room for my bike

My bike is "cleaned" but I have to finish detailing it, and do the chain... hopefully this weekend. I hear ya on the traction, there is no debating that. The motor loves the cold, transmission and tires hate it

We haven't had salt put down either (that I've noticed). The Camaro has basically been parked for the past couple of weeks, an occasional short run after work. It has been snowing off and on all day here. There isn't any accumulation, but I'm thinking the car season is basically over.

Love the color. Too bad the wife hates it, as it was once a contender when I was shopping .

Is that convertible top cover (can't remember the part name) factory? I'm thinking they are usually the color of the top?
