Got my PS4S's today!
These will be used for my road setup. Waiting for the Apex ARC-8's to arrive.... Another 5 or 6 weeks perhaps. Gonna use the Goodyears and the OEM rims for track use. Couldn't help but chuckle that the tires side by side take up close to 6 feet in my garage. Hahahaha! I'm in Canada. Curious to know what other Canucks paid for there PS4S purchase. I just ordered mine today too, they'll be in at the local tire shop tomorrow morning. Plan to put them on my wheels tomorrow and also plan on using OEM for the track. Just got the TPMS reset tool in from amazon yesterday. Just for the tires, not including tax I paid 1935 Canadian, 1480 us.

Those tires are the best for the street. Sidewalls are softer than GYers which should translate to much better streetability.
I have the same for the street + Apex ARC8's for the track. Would suggest using the Apex ARC8s for the track as they are much lighter and easier to get if you have wheel damage. The OEM wheels are hard to get if damaged.

Price? Tire Rack?
I went with the Bridgerocks (Discount Tire with the full tire warranty) because I'm cheap and like the road hazard protection, but will try Michelin next time (and it won't be long) Tire Rack has a tire warranty but it's limited and I think it's more difficult to claim it |

I'm probably going with those as they were great on my 17 SS. These 1LE tires are all over the road where I drive in NC. Probably make it into a car I enjoy driving a lot more.

I made the switch to PS4Ss about a month ago. The car has become my daily, and I wanted to make the switch before it got cold and rainy. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet they are and how much more settled/comfortable the car feels. I suspect they're a substantial downgrade on a warm dry track, but what a great all around street tire. My son runs Continental ECSs on his '19 Mustang GT, and I thought those were great when he bought them (especially for the price), but the ride with the PS4Ss is noticeably better.

I thought about them, but that Michelin premium(CAN$1000+ compared to SC3) is pretty hard to swallow over the stock SS 1LE tires.
The general idea is that PS4S is better on the streets but on the track, the SC3 rocks. If you rarely or never track the car, I don't think they are a bad choice, but at the same time, the price on the SC3 is very hard to argue against and I don't mind them on the street, really. I suppose you can say that PS4S is a street tire you can track and SC3 is a track tire you can street.

You got a great deal! I called several shops and got quotes from $3300 (Kal Tire) to $2600. Big difference. Plus the guys with the lowest quote had them there in 2 days. Everyone else was saying early spring... Mmmm?
It's a chunk of change but I think it'll be worth it. |

Why are you Canucks paying so much for tires? I believe I paid $1780 US mounted and balanced and I thought that was pricey. I just swapped them off the car for the Bridgestone all seasons this afternoon, we had a 33 degree day this week. The PS4S is a good tire, grippy, works in the rain and doesn't sand blast your paint.
