You will not be able to recalibrate thru the dealer at all, the only way to recalibrate for tire size changes is via a 3rd party tuning solution like HP Tuners, EFI Live, Hypertech and the such. Then you take a chance on warranty issues.

How much do the front stick out past the fender lip? What do you think about 275/35's up front, just a little bit norrower?

Thanks!

20x10 5x120 23et with a 285/30/20 tire

20x11 5x120 43et with a 305/30/20 tire

no mod requirements, no spacers, no cutting, nothing just straight bolt on.
even if your lowered your good to go.

I run 285/35/r20 with same specs as the 20x10 et 23 in the front. The tires are right at the edge of the fender of a 1SS. No rubbing at all. I also did the 305/35/r20 with 20x11 et 43 and no rubbing in the rear but did relocate the wiring just in case. I am running the new Continental tires as well. Tires will make a difference on the width.

Is there an issue with tram lining on such large front tires? I daily drive, so I am having a hard time deciding on 285/305 or maybe just a bit smaller at 265/295. My major concern is wet performance of the stock tires. I have had some terrible hydroplaning/tram lining with the front tires during very heavy rain storms. Despite the projected excellent performance of Conti EC Sport, or Michelin PS4S, I don't want to go so wide that I continue to have drive-ability issues in the wet.

It would take the right offset rim.. like for instance the shocks of the 1le zl1 are different vs providing room for those tires/rims to fit! most of the problem is not the fender for rubbing but upper area where shock mounts..

Yes 20x10 front & 20x11 rear fit, I have them on my car and so do many other SS owners. A 305/30 fits fine, but if you do a 305/35, the tire is a little taller and rubs on a tiny spot of the liner, as long as you do the harness relocate for the left rear you'll be fine.

Those wheels look great, what models are they, and is this car lowered?

Very nice! I’ve got Eibach pro kit on the way. Saw these wheels and they look tempting for my 50th Anny. Same color as yours.

I run 295 square and don't notice much tramlining at all. Might be tire dependent.
I am running Pilot SS
I also find the steering just a touch heavier and more feedback - which I prefer.
