14 MPG
By comparison to y'all I wonder since I have owned my car, al L99, the indicator shows average fuel at 14.0 mpg. I drive 50/50 stop and go and highway. Is the mileage low, high, or average for the 2013 2ss L99 at 100K miles?

I average 16mpg.
Do you reset the parameters often?

100 mile commute daily for me, I don’t “tip toe” around but I also don’t launch at every stop.
I’m averaging 21mpg - LS3 & manual 6 sp. |

It don’t come easy.

When the mpg is in the DIC, press the center button in the end of the turn signal lever.

I reset mine when I fill up usually ('14 SS/RS L99), so I don't have a long-term number... However, if you do what's called "spirited" driving, I don't think that's all that low. I would guess that my average over the last 6 years is around 16 or so. I tend to baby mine too much I think, as I've only spun the back tires about 4 times! I know that's not normal, but I got most of that out of my system back in the 70's :-)

Is this a "stock" car? If so reset the parameters and keep an eye on it. I used to get around 16-18 stock. I have a big cam and a 4200 stall now on on average in town and highway driving, 50/50 I will get about 13-14 which isn't too bad for 475rwhp 4000lb car.lol

I used to average about 16 mpg with basic bolt-ons before the current build. Now the DIC shows I'm making 25 but it's about half that in reality.

I bought from a dealer. It is stock I suspect because the dyno was 350rwhp. I did find out how to reset by holding in the button at the end of the left side menu control. I am at zero now. A side note. I dynoed the GN on the same day. The rwhp was about 175. Yet the GN is faster in the quarter mile than the 2ss/rs is. The Camaro turns 13.4 while the GN is 13.2 on average. Both are stock except the GN has a gutted cat and stiffer than stock valve springs and a chip. |
