Wireless Charger Holder?

I’ve done a quick Google search and forum search and I could not come up with anything. Is there an aftermarket product for our cars that would hold the phone in the wireless charger pad so it does it go sliding off into the backseat?

If there isn’t one available maybe we should look into approaching a company to make one.

I don’t want to hear ”I don’t use it response“ Or ”It’s a waste”. The feature it’s a waste.” The feature is nice to have when you have another phone in the car and you’re short on cables. I’m asking a serious question and if there’s not an answer maybe I’ll prototype A 3-D printed one to sell.

Someone would need to make a replacement for the rubber insert that could hold a modern phone.

My Galaxy S10 is too large for the rubber pad. I removed the insert and if I can find the right angle, it will charge my phone. But not consistently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

I almost never use it anymore.

Do you have the standard S10 or the +? I have the stadard S10 and the S8 before that. I cut the little nubs in the ends of the rubber pad, both phones fit great and charge fine.

ProClip makes a Qi charger for their mounts. I don’t have an experience with that model in particular, but I’ve had ProClips in all of my cars including my Camaro. Just a heads up, they are a bit pricey and you need two pieces - one for the phone and one for the car. I’ve used the same adjustable mount between all of my phones/cars and just changed our the vehicle adapter.

I have taken my car up through curvy mountain roads and the phone on the wireless charger does not move one bit, after I modified the rubber pad.

Why not put a small elastic net over the area?

My current phone fits (barely, but it does) and charges just fine. Once the time comes to replace it, I'll mod the rubber pad, like many others already did. It's a cool feature IMO, I don't like plugging and unplugging connectors or seeing messy cables while driving.
