HPTuners fails to read?
Greetings all.
1st foray into HPTuners. Have updated software and firmware, resynced interface... It will connect and log no problem, but when I try to read the OEM tune, I get a ‘failed’ message. What am I missing? FYI - car is running when trying to read.

I must admit...I've never attempted while the car is running. I push the start button (foot off the brake) until everything lights up. Then read the vehicle. Then do a save as.

This is going to sound dumb.... but are you connected to the internet/wifi on your computer?
IIRC it's either the first time you read it or the first time you flash it, you have to be connected to the interwebz on your computer.

So...FYI.
You can't read/write when the car is running. Accessory mode only. I knew that from other cars I have tuned, but totally spaced it here. All is good. BTW - Pray Performance for the win!
