If you're just looking for power isn't Mitsubishi make a bigger turbos for your car that's what I've read will boost your car up to 400 horse and it will be lighter than the V6 or the SS if you're going to give the car away you might as well mod it and drive it

Shop Around!

I also live in Maryland and just negotiated a fully loaded 2017 1SS 1LE (MSRP was close to $47K with PDR and dealer installed options) for close to $40K before taxes/tags!

I find this hard to believe. If you did, way to go! A nearly loaded 1SS is around 40k give or take. I can see some money off, but 8-10k?

I feel like not a lot of people read through the thread. It's not the asking price of the car, it's the 5k negative equity that is the issue. that's going to be there regardless of the route.

I don't know how or why you got 20 percent off, but you can't go wrong with that deal then. 👍🏻

Because of overproduction and a lack of sales the 16s had a 20% off red tag sale for a good portion of fall and early winter last year. Bought mine in oct.

They need to go up even more on your trade and down more on price. Otherwise be content. Upside down vehicles aren't worth it... Dealing with that mistake now myself...
