Puncture makes this much more difficult than a scratch or similar. That's gonna be some extent of pro body work, I don't think guy in the driveway any method is going to solve this one.

It is hard to tell the depth of the damage from the picture but if it is more than a normal scratch/chip then the paint layering method will probably take an unreasonable amount of repeat applications to fill it in so it is flush with the surrounding paint.

I wouldn't recommend a paint pen because you have less control over the amount of paint dispensed and where it goes compared to liquid paint applied with a micro applicator, toothpick, or matchstick. I have used one previously on a wheel but wouldn't buy another one.
