Yeah it looks like there is a ton of material to remove on the snout. Another shop sent me this photo yesterday. This one is ported by Jokerz to some extent.

Hmmm…getting to 120 on that snout is actually cutting it a bit closer than I thought IMO. I’ll probably stick with the 112mm for this year since I’m hoping the new blower and 15” conversion gets me an 8. I’ll add PI next winter (6 months away in New England ) and turn it up then… assuming I don’t grenade anything lol… But it would be nice if there is no adapter drama for either size TB though.

It would definitely take some cutting, but if someone was determined enough, I think they could get it there.

Honestly, the gains from 112 to 120mm aren't huge on the 2650, so unless you are trying to squeeze every last bit out, you probably don't need it. Definitely won't need it to get an 8. But, if you are like me, you'll hit a goal and the data will say you can squeeze more out of the combo, so you'll just keep going... I typically recommend not doing this, but it usually just happens and your wallet get lighter very fast...

The 120/112mm bolt pattern is the same.

Oh yeah…I hear you there. But good info on the 120 TB so I’ll hold off on that for now.

The CAD is done for the 112mm adaptor.

The 112 bolt pattern intersects the counter sunk holes for the snout bolt pattern so it has to be clocked.

I'm cutting 1 part to test fit here to make sure that the clocking is correct and the throttle body doesn't hit anything. If it all fits then we'll knock out a small production run directly after.

Great news!

Any chance you can offer a gasket to seal the 112 to the adapter? Using RTV is terrible and makes taking it apart a chore.

Is this about the last thing you're waiting for, before getting back on the dyno?

Getting there. There’s a list lol

1. TB adapter by Katech
2. Reroute ice tank lines (need to come up on each side of the engine now)…almost done…
3. Customize intercooler hoses (Whipple’s supplied setup is lame and will interfere with future port injection)
4. Fabricate a new intercooler pump bracket since the new pump is a different diameter.
5. Install THPSI lower pulley, new griptec upper, and measure for new belt (unless one of the 20 I have kicking around does the trick )
6. Refit Smoothboost using prototype bracket (just arrived today)

I’m hoping I can pickup 50-100 WHP this year without running out of fuel on the LPE DI stuff. Then next winter (6 months away lol) add PI.

Test adaptor is cut. Hoping to have the blower on the car today so that we can check fitment.

Mike, out of curiosity, why didn't you distribute the space between the bolt holes in each pattern more evenly? Two of them have almost nothing between the TB and the snout hole, while there's a ton of material left with the other two hole pairs. Is it that you didn't want to rotate or shift the TB any further?
