We also have an 8.5x24 enclosed. It's a very tight fit. Door hits the inner fenderwells when opened about 3", so I crawl out the window. I use over the tire straps to e track, and it's cramped getting those hooked up. I have a winch, but haven't tried that route yet. I throw a sheet over the seat, and door, and climb out the window. It's not pretty to watch!

If I were starting from scratch, I would definitely be looking at trailers with side doors.

just drive it way more easy and fun. if you are going to add doors you may need to add support bracing

Sorry to bump a deadish thread.. but since I finally towed the ZLE in the enclosed.. Yes I winch it in and out. Out is a little more annoying since you have to push it out while powering out the winch and don't really want to make it jerk too badly.
