Trailer securing points on ZLE

For those of you who trailer your ZLEs to the track, what do you use as strapping/securing points? (I just bought a Carson Standard trailer.)

Look under the car, there are plenty of holes in the subframe to put a tow hook into, that's what I do.

I know that location! I love running at AMP. I strap mine down thru the wheels. It works well and not issues towing across the country. Previous cars I used the frame tow j-hook slots, but this car is too low to get under and find.

Strapped down through the wheels here as well. Seems to work really well.

Not a ZLE, but I use E-Track and strap over the tires of my SS1LE.

There seems to be a lot of debate of let the suspension move by tying down by the wheels an tires or using J Bolt in the frame an locking the suspension down. I think the best way is the way they are transported from the factory through the J Bolts. An for lowered cars I think just as you drive up on the trailer there should be plenty of room to get the J Bolts in the slots. As far thing through the rims not a huge fan of that especially on high dollar forged rims, best way would be a tire net style set up and tie them using E Track or other tie down points on your trailer.

Strap through the wheels. You never have to get under the car. They make specific straps with cushioning just for this purpose.

This is what I do as well. Got a set of tie downs online from a company called Mac's and am really happy with them.

I’ve done frame for years, through the wheels for a little bit never loved it, recently added Etrack to my trailer to go over the tires and man I have been missing out! So simple, and extremely stable.
