Exhaust is deeper and throatier. Crackles are the same, but you can definitely hear the intake noise more.

THIS!!! I agree, no reduction in crackles and pops... That is more dependent on how you drive it, get it aggressively above 3k in 2nd gear and let off the gas and you'll get more Snap, Crackle & Pops than a box of Rice Crispies!!

Dynoed gain is around 15~20 WHP/WTQ across the rev range.

Gonna be honest, it took me a while to pull the trigger, too, but it looks nice with the rest of the 1LE package.

I don't feel much of a change in the sound department. I like the pops and crackles, but I also won't be too sad to lose them, either, since they aren't functional in an NA car. Now if it's a turbocharged engine, that's a different story as those pops and crackles help spool up the turbo faster. Call the Veloster N pops and crackles rice all you want, but the truth is that the pops and crackles in the SS is actually the "rice" one.

Lol! It sure is...my brother drives it almost every day. He's actually being filmed with the car today for a new video that 'Track Day' is releasing on youtube. Can't wait to check it out!
