New Convertible - Plastic Noises

Just a quick question guys. I just picked up a new 2018 2SS this week and so far I absolutely love it! The only draw back is a distinct plastic on plastic popping/rubbing noise coming from overhead where the top marries up to the top of the windshield. It’s not extremely loud just mildly annoying and persistent. Is this just something I need to live with as it’s a convertible or can it be adjusted? The enjoyment from the top down vastly outweighs the annoyance from the noise but I figured I would ask. Thanks for any help!!!

Yup, I've got the same thing, though usually only first thing in the morning when its cooler out. I am hesitant to take it to the dealer to have them "adjust" the top. Found that a 1" wide strip of adhesive backed felt works pretty well in the area of the noise. You can put it on the plastic header on the folding top, there is a perfect ~1" wide area to stick it, that way you don't see it with the top down.

I have no noises from mine, so it is not a problem with every convertible.

I've got a '17 vert with 4800 miles on the clock. No rattling from the top on mine.
