I haven't heard of any trade offs to date..I would think if the lash is correct between the fuel lobe and pump, then it should last a long time. Then again most folks camming these engines likely are not going to put 100k miles on the setup...so it's hard to compare longevity.

Should I be running this voltage on the lt1 pump?

I haven't heard of anybody trying it... You could always try it and see if it boosts the low side pressure. that being said unless you are seeing the low side drop on a WOT pull I don't think you really need to mess with it.

The M100183 upgrade!!!

You’ll also want to change the desired fuel pressure in the FSCM. Will cost you one credit with HP Tuners.

As a first response on this forum, it had to be about fueling and my experience just today. For the record and since this is related, I have the 2SS 2017 model and I also purchased the M100183 in view of many planned mods in future. Now guess what the chevy garage in Switzerland pulled out of the tank and showed me after 6 hours work? Yep…, the M100183. :/

I think all should be careful to check not only whether you have the 1LE etc..., but maybe the year or type such as 2SS which may make the difference. Just sending this info out there so that others don't get caught out with my mistake.

You need one of these if your planning to run high E%. DW400 pump in a stock housing. Plug & play.

my 17 SS had the non 1LE pump in it. did he buy it used? I remember something about the pump in the car had the same numbers as the new pump but they were part numbers for parts of the pump not the number for the whole pump. I know at 1st it looked like i had the same pump but after some researching i found they were different.

If you're running the ZL1 pump, you should have the voltage and desired pressure changed. You should also have 4 other items changed in the tune and the guys getting 5.5ms on .89lambda, take a look at a ZL1 program for reference. Then look at your SOI & EOI and fix it.

Spot on! You are right. After I got the car back with the old pump in the trunk, I found out exactly the same. Chevy mechanics in Switzerland were totally wrong! :/ So please disregard my comments about the pump - sorry about that...

However, as a result of the change in pump, they messed up my driveshaft or something. Now I get a vibration at low rpm cruise speed between 80 and 120. I didn't have this before and mechanics say its the infamous transmission shudder.

here is the pic of the 2SS old pump with serial number. Now go figure why chevy mechanics called me to say it was the same as the M100183.

Maybe they didn’t mark the driveshaft so it goes back in exactly how it came out.
