Got to decide by in the morning
Got some credit for warrenty on some tires, but I have to decide by the morning. do I go with the new nitto
315/35/20 or the mickey thomson 345/35/18? Im looking for the best one for the street stright line from a dig. Any input much appericated. |

Nitto
- last longer -better in rain -much better hook than stock Mickey Thompson -better at the track -wear out much quicker than Nitto -will hook better all around than the Nitto |

Mickey T's are junk Nittos balance easier, my opinion only

In regards to the Drag radial models, I never cared for how the Mickey's tread starts balling up after a few hard hits on the street. Imo the Mickey is a track focused tire that can be used on the street. The Nitto is a street focused tire that can be used at the track even though both are considered drag radials. The Nitto won't hook as well at the track but my experience is that it's better on the street all around.

Thanks for all the input. So I did some serious measuering and looks like the 345 35 18 would need about another 1/4 inch right where the wire harness is on the drivers side, so I have the 305/35/20 II nittos on the way. Looking forward to see how they do.
