Awesome video. And very exciting. I gotta say, at this point Ford is clearly outmatched. The Zl1 1LE is exciting. So is the Demon. And definitely the ZR1 for sure. In this grouping the GT350R would be just plain boring and not much competition for anything except for the Demon and that would be only on the track. And going even further, at this point, if you wanted 3 cars in a comparison, 2 of them would have to be Chevys, lol!! Which proves my point that these days the only thing that can really compete with a Chevy is another Chevy. Ford REALLY needs to get that GT500 out on the streets but fast.

I think the GT350R deserved an appearance simply because it is a super raw experience from what I can tell. And it has a pretty special engine. But yeah, ZL1 1LE is the real deal and a complete package. And you can get them on *DISCOUNT* (right?)!

Oh absolutely. They don't sell at all unless the dealerships offer a heavy discount. I mean, they're literally throwing them away for like $40K OTD brand new.

I think he's being facetious. The lowest I've seen 1LE's are mid/upper 60's.

Yea I was joking! Hearing it from the Mustang guys you'd think they're practically throwing them away like a GT. You can find them priced very well tho. At MSRP you can still get rebates applied. And most dealerships are usually willing to drop a little off the price. Not like $5K off but maybe a few hundred. It isn't much at all but still. Check Car Gurus, Cars.com, and a few other sources and you can find them. If you see one that has been sitting for a while them I'm sure you can talk them down even more as they'll likely want to move it out.

My understanding is of the VooDoo engine is the real special elements of it come out on the track. Apparently part of the VooDoo is not knowing which lap it's going to grenade you just know it is!

Yeah. It may sound great, but with those high revs, don't expect any longevity or durability out of it, track or street (unlike the ZL1).
