I absolutely LOVE my S2k... Actually I just sold my 05 AP2 that was stock. That cars isn't fast or powerful like I'm used to but I had it for two years and put about 9-10k miles on it and Loved every mile. Such a fun ride in such a different way than my other cars.

But, the one I have now is an 06 Supercharged AP2 that dynode 397hp at the wheels... Everything else is stock and the extra power is what this little car needed for me to enjoy it even more!!!! I'm a bigger guy at 6'2" and 270 lbs (used to me described as more athletic build, but I'm getting old at 51...lol).

So, I can't see selling it man. If you're like me and hot natured, I don't drive it much in the Summer... I HATE summer and being hot and sweaty... The S2K is my Fall and Winter car... We really enjoy the top down with a hoody and cap on. Even down into the 30's...lol...

I say keep it man... They aren't making cars like them anymore (nor the SS for that matter) but the S2K is one for the history books and such a pleasure to drive and have fun with.

Unless something happens where I need the money (always a possibility as I get closer to retirement years) I'll be keeping mine.

They've done some nice silvers on the 6th Gen's over the years.. This Sharkskin (I love the name BTW) is one of my Fave's for sure. Mix between Silver / Grayish...

It looks very Dark against my RAM Mega Cab's Silver, and closer to the Silver stone Metallic of my S2K...

This was stopping to eat on the way home from buying the SS. The Wife had to drive the RAM...lol

This is the Silverstone Metallic on the S2K. (Also showing the wife's Miami Blue Boxster S)

Also showing my old Stock 05 S2K in Sebring Silver and how much lighter it is.

Congratulations on the new car, and really the whole fleet! Don't forget to use the rev match paddle.

Congratulations! Love your fleet!

Have a Ram and 1LE too. Yet, looking for the next ride and am bouncing between a s2000, Emira or Boxster/Cayman (even considering a C7 GS). I’m keeping the 1LE because it’s just way too good to drop and is amazing on track. However, looking for another car experience.

Thanks for sharing your experience

Thank you very much.

The Rev matching feature is amazing and makes things so easy... Kinda torn about using it, as I don't feel like a true "driver" doing it.. lol

Heal / Toe'ng is still my go to but that rev match feature will surely make it easier and smoother... Over time it can also prolong the clutch, so I"ll probably use it most of the time. Hopefully this will be a life long "keeper" so I want to keep it nice.

We did a Mountain run last night but I took the Vette...Got new tires on it yesterday and had to break them in.

Not driving the SS until I can get PPF on the front.

Did the dealer remove the orange shipping spacers from the front springs?

Love the color!

Thank you! I'm pretty sure they did...lol.

I'll double check but the few miles I've driven it (did a few today on a curvy road near the house) it seems to handle find and the stance looks right.

BTW , I checked and the spring spacers were removed... Comparing pics, it doesn't seem any higher than any others.. Buddy just bought the same car yesterday and his pics look just like mine in terms of Height.

Got my PPF scheduled so I can finally drive it.

Thanks to everyone for the "Welcome's"...

I got a quote on doing PPF on the car before I continue to drive it...

I got one for the whole car but it's crazy expensive and would cost a full 10th of what I paid for the car...

Anyone have recommendations on what areas to definitely cover... I know I'm doing the whole front bumper and lights, Front Fenders, A-Pilars, and Leading edge of the roof...Also doing some form of "Rock Guards" on the rear quarters prior to the rear wheels...
