I can vouch for the T3 line from DBA. I had them on my Mazdaspeed and they were great. No issues whatsoever. Plus they look cool.

That's good to hear, others seem to have similar experience . I'll see if they make any difference Even if they last about the same with the OEM, I'll be still happy as I am shaving some rotational mass and the cost is about the same

In the third picture, what type and size socket bit is needed for the bolts that hold the rotor ring to the hat?

Sorry I forgot to mention that, it should be 8mm female torx but I didn't have it in hand so I've used this. The other side is 8mm standard socket. When you torque the rings, try using the female torx instead of the standard socket to eliminate slip.

This is what I used instead :

yes but Corvette and Camaro has different hub patterns and so come different hats. It is not direct replacement for Camaros
