My MPG is Totally Irrelevant.
It gets whatever it gets, and I fill it up whenever I need to. Zero damns given about MPGs, cost of fuel, or anything else I have little to no control over. |

I'll definitely play. I always seek the BEST bang for the buck on almost anything I buy- especially cars. I like as much performance as I can get for low price initially, maintenance cost and gas mileage. (This is regarding my commuter car, not a track, weekend or racing machine)
2016 Camaro LT, V6, manual. Daily driver I use every other week, rotating with a 2018 VW GTI with DSG 70 miles a day round trip, mostly back roads- flat, 45-55 MPH No AC, windows down temperature 76-92 MBRP axle back exhaust 35.2 average MPG. (It edges out the GTI and is lower operating cost due to regular gas versus mid grade or premium I put in the GTI)

SS 1LE - Just clicked over 8,000 miles. 17.7 MPG lifetime, and that includes all the track days I've done.

SS, just shy of 18,000 mi, lifetime average 12.8 mpg.
A short commute of all "city" driving and holding onto each gear probably has a lot to do with that. |

'17 V6 A8 RS Vert - no mods
12,835 miles as daily driver 22.1 MPG 348 miles on current tank 25.0 MPG My wife is always amazed that this car gets almost as many MPG as her 2013 4 cyl Honda CR-V. And the Camaro is a hell of a lot more fun to drive... |

2.0T, several modifications, daily driver
Trip A (209 miles): 23.0 mpg Lifetime (5,999 miles): 22.3 mpg Best 50-mile score: 33.8 mpg I tend to be heavy on the throttle, so I'm pleased with the numbers above. |

The computer is always wrong/optimistic. Usually by about 2mpg. By hand I average between 16-17mpg mix of city/hwy.
