LT6 Intake in LT1 Engine. Since the Mustang got 2 TB, we should too.

Hey,

I was just wondering about the LT6 intake in a camaro. I think it has more volume than our intakes so it would be fun to see what it does.

Has anyone tried to fit an LT6 Corvette intake in an LT1/2 engine?

Ports don't match in shape and size, but I wonder if the centerlines do? In that case an adapter plate might work.

Thoughts?

The only interesting Mustang engine has only one throttle body

(The article itself at the link is junk, but the engine photo is the best I've found.)

I believe these are completely different intake port designs, let along every other part of the engines.

Ports are different shape but the most important part is centerline. I read somewhere that they match.

Fabricating an aluminum adaptor plate and if needed some JB weld

I think the runners are longer in the LT6 intake, also volume.
I can get a cheap spare lt1 intake but those LT6 are expensive to play around and compare
