We added a Smoothboost to the Whipple 3.0L car.
It completely got rid of all the issues we were having with the bypass wanting to snap shut and make full boost basically any time you went over 30% throttle. We also added the Kooks/Vengeance race exhaust. The car picked up 5hp and 30ft/lbs over the 1-7/8" headers that were on it. I was a bit disappointed by that. I think it just needs more pulley to really pick up anything more. We're at 18psi. |
