Beginning at this year’s Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA at Lucas Oil Stadium June 18-19, the organization will certify Camaros for being the best representations in terms of originality and appearing as they left the factory. The Gold Certification will reflect historic preservation, but not necessarily cosmetic perfection. This program obviously isn’t for new Camaro owners, but for those of you who also own classics from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ??? (They haven’t said yet what years will be eligible.)

This is a big deal for the collector car hobby and for Camaro collectors who think their cars are among the best original cars in the world. And if the future Camaro marketplace operates the same way as it does for Bloomington Gold certified Corvettes, owners of certified Camaros should see a significant increase in their car’s value.
