2016 Camaro Gauge Overlay Installation Instructions...

I compiled a, relatively, detailed set of instructions for installing our 2016 Camaro Gauge Overlays... http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...65_320_331_332

This should be useful to anyone trying to take their radio or dash apart for any reasons as I did my best to document the front and back of every part we removed so you can see how it goes together... and comes apart

I have no clue how to upload a PDF so I turned it into a jpeg for others to use as well... Hopefully my thoroughness doesn't scare you off, GM made it INCREDIBLY easy to take these dashes apart ! Enjoy!

As cool as those overlays are, that is just too scary of a process for me to do myself.

GTO had this done perfectly!! Your interior color dictated what color gages you go in the car. Wish the Camaro had this nice touch.

It's worth it. Bought Matt's overlays for my Trans Am and loved them. The dealer was quite confused when I traded it for my new Camaro now and had to explain they are custom. (He swapped it out for me with the original dash so I could keep it)

i'll be purchasing this soon.

Great write up! Thanks for all the details! Too often details are left out to make the process not seem overly complicated. Pointing out the clip locations is very helpful!

I know its totally unrelated, but my wheels are already turning thinking about a small custom wrap on the starter button will be possible. Maybe a red starter button with a custom graphic on it. I have a close friend who does custom vinyls for cars. Everything from small inlays to full wraps on SEMA projects.

Can I get these with a different color SS, or just the SS in a black outline on the white face? Possibly you could do a one off set for this build I have? It will be a feature car at SEMA, contact me for full details.
Thanks!

Not a problem at all! This was just the start as we didn't have a local V6 to test on. Shoot me an e-mail, we'll do whatever you want for the same price if you can just send us a couple pics.

I think the problem with the graphic would be the fact that these have the lettering recess almost molded in. You can change the color (but vinyl might move from touching it so much and paint would wear) but I think you'd have to stick to the stock graphics.
