2 rivets you need to drill out usually, at least for the RS. But even the SS i'm guessing has to be hard connected with screws or rivets. Might leave 2 visible holes.

Here they talk and show the holes to help locate them. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...e+plate&page=2

Same, but some stick it on before they even have a buyer and i think that is a waste, should wait for a buyer to decide.

Another option for the holes in your bumper is bumper plugs. I ended up doing that with my 5th gen when I removed the OEM front plate holder.

I bought mine here http://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php?route=common/home

I think you can find the same type of plugs at either automotive stores or hardware stores and do it yourself, I went with that company so they could paint match to victory red. It won't be such a big deal to match the black I wouldn't think.

Going to make my own plate holder with the tow hitch spot. Got the bolt today to fab mine up. The bolt size is a 18 with a 2.5 thread. I was having a hard time finding it in retail stores. found a local place that had a couple in the size i needed. Just wanted to get the size out there, could not find the size of the bolt anywhere on the forums.

Have you had any luck with making your bracket? By 18 with 2.5, do you mean a 18 pitch thread, such as 5/16 - 18 thread 2.5" long? I may make something with the tow hook too.

Sorry didn't explain very well. I used 2- 4 1/2 m18 bolts welded them together. Thread pitch is 2.50. Havn't done anything besides weld them. I have to have a bend in the bolt to get the angle j want. Also gonna have 1 end tapped to be able to bolt on a slim plate in a X configuration. The only bolts I could find were grade 8. Way stronger then I need. And tough to bend. Been working to much, not enough time to mess with it.

Oh ok was wondering if you meant M18 x 2.5, Wasnt sure if it would be metric on an American car. (This is the first American car I've owned) I want to make something similar, I have access to a CNC lathe at work so I am thinking about threading one end and tapping the other to mount a bracket. I haven't taken delivery of the car yet, but was thinking it may need a bend to follow the angle of the bumper.
