Anyone go from A10 to M6?

Anyone have the itch to switch back to M6 for the the fun? Any regrets?

Not a daily driver, no track, just a toy on weekends and running errands.

I let my 22 order be cancelled as it was for an auto but my new 23 order was a 6 speed manual and it was a no brainer. I regretted even spec'ing the auto on the 22, I haven't owned a manual car for almost 6-7 years now.

If you prefer manual (as I do) you will love the TR-6060 in our ZL1. It’s outstanding. Very smooth and with computer assisted no-lift-shift it’s a blast.

I honestly can't wait! I had wanted an 2SS 1LE for almost a year straight going a few years back and I was all about the manual. Stoked to actually be pulling the trigger on it! Turned a new Bronco down that I had reserved and I even backed out of a factory ordered WB Challenger Scat Pack in the last 2 years.
THIS is my dream car.

Thinking out loud... Why would anyone ever order one of these with an auto in the first place???

Really though... I can understand not knowing how to drive a stick, but surely this car would make it worth while to learn right?

If I didn't know how I would've picked up a beater to learn over learning on the ZL1 itself. I'm thinking it's for whoever wants to drag race it mainly or someone using it as daily driver. I wont be using it for either, honestly I'm more interested in carving windy backroads over straight line racing.

I wouldn’t have bought this car (or any other for that matter) if I couldn’t get it in a manual.

I have an M6 and love it, but there are a lot of good reasons to go A10...

If you're a track focused owner, you can get better or more consistent lap times with an A10. GT3 RS, Ferraris, McLarens, Lambos not available in manual and this helps with track performance, as well as auto/dual-clutch being idiot proof. In the heat of track action, a money shift can ruin your day/car.

City traffic is another reason, but my ZLE is not a daily so not an issue for me and many others.

Huh? Put me in the group for the A10 over a manual on a windy track! The A10 on a track (not straight-line or even straight-line) is an experience in and of itself.

The M6 is also a unique experience on track, it takes a while to master. Driving the M6 on a super twisty track like Streets of Willow, shifting and clutching while the tight and closely spaced turns throw you side to side (with no racing seat or harness), takes some getting used to :-) But if you can do that well you can drive anything better. I don't try to heel toe, love the rev-match.

Because the A10 is faster the 6 speed is also a dog at higher speeds, the gearing is just bad. It’s fun to drive yes, but that’s where it ends.

Completely disagree on being a dog at higher speeds. The reality is quite the opposite. Especially in a tuned or built car. My hp graph is still climbing at redline and car pulls very hard until redline in every gear.
