Ouch

My MY22 order back in October arrived May 10th at the dealership and I’m out of town until next Monday. Salesman called asking to back-date the purchase to before I get back into down to lock in the price because there was a “potential $2,000 dealer invoice price increase coming to Camaros and Corvettes”. I think its a d*ck move personally whether real from GM or sales tactic by the dealership. For me it just means first payment will be due 2 weeks faster. Oh well. I’m told its only missing backup alert which will be retrofitted later for free.

I work for GM and I know the current pressures are rough, but dang.

Tempting me to sell my 2022. I could probably put a modest "private seller markup" on it.

No surprise to me the prices are higher! Just look at the costs of everything else now and they keep going up daily.

I expected it to go up but $3700 plus destination nonsense it's hard to stomach it but I'm so far gone on having had a 21 on order, a 22 for 240 something days and now a 23.
