For me it would probably be a tough pick between a hairy chested '69 Camaro SS/RS with a mega-cube big block OR a '69 Z/28. In Tuxedo Black - of course.
But if I had to choose only between a Mustang or Challenger, it would be either a GT350R or a Hellcat Challenger. But - I could also easily drive a Hellcat Charger. Like this one:

Neither Ford or Dodge. Ford has a bad reputation for being crap and Dodge hasn't changed their body style in 100 years, boring. Just my opinion, no offense to anyone.

Between the two choices, a Mustang. The challenger is too large, and I don't like the fact the challenger body looks the same no matter what engine you buy aside from the badge on the grille. If I buy a $80 000 challenger I want it to look different than a $30 000 one. You get that with the Camaro's different front end stylings for the LT, SS and ZL1.
Otherwise, if I could buy any other car, I'd probably get a Jaguar F type S AWD

Probably would have gone with Mustang if no other choice as I would never buy another Chrysler product after a Minivan experience with them. |

Challenger is just too damned heavy. If I'm getting something that heavy, it had better be a sedan with a lot of power (like the Charger).
That said, I'd definitely go with a 'stang. |

Challenger kind of reminds me of a 60s pickup. Therefore, I'd take one if I could get a 3 speed manual on the column.

I think I would get a GT350 or M2.

With Mustang and Challenger as the only options to replace my current Camaro as DD and autocross car I would have to hands down go with the Mustang. With the refresh changes and options I think it could be a real contender in F-Street depending on what wheel and tire packages are available.

It happened before. At least they killed it when it was hideous looking back then. Not sure why they would kill it now when they have the best Camaro ever produced right now. I can't really figure out why sales are down. My father-in-law just traded his Vette for one. While Im glad I went with a Hellcat over the Camaro, the Camaro is a great car. My only complaint is the lack of a usable back seat. We use my Hellcat much more for family trips because it has more room. For me, It would be a sad day to see any of this modern muscle go away. They are all great in their own way. I suppose they will someday though.

Not gonna lie, the Dodge Durango SRT appeals to me right now and as a hopped up family-hauler, I'd probably get to keep it longer too.

Challenger T/A Scat Pack in Go Mango. Only because it has what my Camaro doesn't.... back room space for my kids. They're 9 and 11 now and can barely get in and out much less fit their legs. The Challenger has way more room.
