New Z vs Supra vs Mustang Mach-1 —
Pretty cool video, wish they would’ve had a camero on there though.

They're all kinda/sorta terrible for that price, but we're stuck with it.
If forced to spend my own money, I think I go with the Z.

The Mach 1 is the best car of the bunch. Best value I'd say Supra. Not a fan of the Z. Its probably still a fun car though.
a 1LE would have wiped the floor with them IMO.

Supra is quite a looker, but needs a manual. Glad they are putting one in it.
Z looks good too...front end needs to grow on me. Mach 1 my favorite of the bunch, but 60 grand? Puhleeze. Man our 1LEs are such a steal and value for the price. We should all feel lucky to have snatched them up! (even more so pre-pandemic). |

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday, especially after seeing the price increase on the 2023 Camaros. The 1LE is the best bang for the buck available right now. Even at the 2023 prices.

What are new 1SS 1LEs going for now - around 50? I bought mine from a forum member here June 2020 with 800 miles on the odo. Feel like I like I stole it for under 40g.
If it was somehow totaled I would just buy another 1LE to be honest. I have summit white but hot damn I love that rally green. Or that orange if my wife would let me do it but she said not to orange crush. Camden if you are considering i'd just go new... |

sad and funny to think the 1LE is 6+ years old and still the bar for sports car-collective performance. all while being the cheapest option.

The last V-8-powered 1LE we tested doesn't just roast the Mach 1—it beats every Mustang mentioned here around the figure-eight, and its 93-foot stop from 60 is better than every Mustang on this list, too. A 22.9 second lap at an average of 0.91 g is nothing short of phenomenal, and again, better than any Mustang here. Because it isn't endowed with supercar horsepower or a twin-clutch automatic transmission, the 1LE does lose out to the most powerful Mustangs in the 0-60 mph sprint, but it's still quicker than the Mach 1. Oh and by the way, the 1LE is the cheapest car here, too. With a starting price of $51,090, the 1LE isn't just the bargain of the group, it's one of the best performance deals on the market. It has been since 2016 |
