I have the same ETA and I’m in NC as well our cars might be on the same truck. Hopefully this ETA sticks.

Not sure what it means, but my car is no longer showing in the Inventory Search. It still shows on my dealer web page with an ETA of 7/26.

***checked with Chevy Chat and my status is back to 4000. They said that going from 4200 (shipped) back to 4000 (available to ship) could mean it was just moved from one location to another.

Not a Camaro, but my Colorado ZR2 did that and about a week later (yesterday) it showed up at the dealer. It was still showing as pending dispatch in Troy, MO on Vin View and from GM. Hopefully it works out the same for you.

Got the good news earlier today... car is at the dealership! It went through PDI this evening and I'm going to be picking it up after work tomorrow!!!

We knew from the shipper last week that it was at a railyard in Jessup, MD, which is where it gets off the train and onto a truck to come to the dealership. My wife is out of town this week so we went ahead and did all the paperwork on Saturday, so tomorrow all I have to do is hop in and go!

Sorry to everyone else who has been waiting a long time for their car, but I think my car broke the speedrun record for production to arrival time. My dealership already had multiple cars coming from Lansing anyways, so I suspect it was just a matter of good luck. Also was trucked straight here and didn't have to wait on rail transport. Got to take it home yesterday!

Update: Great news! I'm still in New Boston LOL. Dealer says it will be here by July 13th but I have my doubts.

I've seen a few other threads where the tracking data never updated after New Boston and the car randomly arrived at the dealer... Maybe I just have too much hope.

Dealer just called me and informed me that the system is showing ETA of 7/18. I guess it showed 7/25 last week and it keeps changing, but I’m not getting my hopes up. He also informed me that I can’t do any paperwork until they take delivery of the vehicle. I was trying to lock in that 1.9% that’s going away after 7/5. Now I gotta decide if I should ceramic coat it or not.

I was able to do my paperwork on Saturday, but won't take delivery of the car until this evening. Maybe this varies by state, or by dealer comfort level. I've heard they can lock financing in up to 30 days out, but again, this may vary by state or something. Maybe since your ETA is fluctuating the dealer doesn't want to take the risk.

I don’t have the expertise to do it even as easy as YouTube makes it out to be. I had a guy do my Z/28 with Gtechniq a few years ago out of Lubbock TX (Kenady Detail) and he did an amazing job for $2200 and that paint wasn’t perfect. I wouldn’t mind paying a professional that has all the tools and experience to make my new black ZLE look amazing. Trying to decide between ppf, ceramic coating, or just going naked and washing/waxing it every few weeks like the good old days.

I did a Gtechniq on my truck last year I did CSL and Exo V4 on top. Honestly it is really no harder than applying a sealant. Especially with the Optimum one.
Dont sell yourself short.
You do not need to polish the paint to apply a coating if you are happy with the condition of the paint. I would just do a Iron remover and Tar remover decontamination if you dont want to clay.
Give it a good bath after. wipe it down with a panel wipe and do the coating. Save yourself the crazy amount of cash.
If you where local id do it for you for under $500
that would be clay/polish/coat

Your actual time from acceptance to delivery was pretty standard. Mine was actually slightly faster.
