did you polish it at all?

I did the advanced graphine coating on the 22 1LE. Came out amazing and the beading/hydrophobic properties are way better than the normal, non graphine coating.

Car looks good.

beautiful. silver is the easiest colour to keep looking good aswell. black is hell on earth if you got OCD.
silver doesn't show the dust and dirt. mine is nigh on silver and so easy to keep my OCD inline lol.
only ever owned one black car in 40 years of driving..and i'll never own another one.
white is easy.any colour that hides the dust.

Car looks good.

Think he would have had to do a polish, or scratches whirl have stayed. But I would like to know what he did.

Yes clay is an abrasive and leaves marring without polishing. But it may only be noticeable by those who know. Regular people usually dont notice swirls.

We (regular people) do tend to notice the haze, though... I'd think clay leaves a duller shine behind even if someone can't see swirls...

Nope, didn't polish other than by hand with high end polish rags

Probably would look even better with a rotatory polish

No swirls, no haze and to me looks amazing

I have clayed my vehicles for 20 years. You have to in order to get contaminants out of the paint, before waxing or coating. The clay lubricant keeps the clay slick as it goes across the paint. You would be amazed how much comes out of the paint each year.

Nice, first time using clay and was bit nervous on the results. It took all the surface scratches out of the indent around the handles and even the swirls out of the vinyl strips. Even the rocker panel and splitter had microfiber scratches and claying removed.

You can say that again. I do detailing for friends and family since I have everything..... this was my clay bar after only doing HALF OF THE TOP of the rear bumper on a 4th gen (4th gens have the big lip for a bumper, this was half of that ledge). I believe it had about115k on it at the time.

Just bought mine and is a 2018 that had 8511 miles, so was pretty much never driven and garage kept. Minor stuff on the body but new for the most part.

That 115K one would take a brick of clay with that much dirt LoL
