Looking for a shop in Sacramento
Does anyone know of a good/reputable performance shop in or around Sacramento? Looking for TB and manifold p&p and a tune after I put the Vararam (tune model) and LTs on. Any recommendations? Would rather not make the trip to the east bay if I can avoid it.
Thanks in advance! Dave |

If you are trying to stay local, The only shop that seems to have all positive reviews is Force Fed Performance. Billy is the guy you want to talk to.
Ricky @ synergy has really high reviews and is on the same lines down in the bay area if you don't mind the 2 hour drive. I have not been to either shop, but I can point you in direction of at least 5 people who are super pleased with their work. I don't know if either shop does P&P. Also, I would call Rich Wilhoff at Abel Chevrolet (Rio Vista) and see who he recommends. He's the parts and service manager who is out racing his personal vette every chance he gets. |

I hear a lot of good things about synergy... But I think there is a backlog at synergy at least a month I heard... I would call to verify!

Force Fed Performance does do a lot of work, I have visited their shop. The people are very nice and seem very knowledgeable. MSI in Roseville does nice work and they sell guns too so it is always fun to visit Terry, Mark and the guys. Like "Mindz" said, you could call Rich at Able Chevrolet to see who else is good around the area. Good luck.

Does MSI, Force Fed or Synergy do Dyno tunes? Which one would be best to go to? I will probably be looking to do a dyno tune here soon.

Mark Roman, an LS tuning master, does a lot of work out of MSI. I am not sure where he does his Dynos or if he only does real world tuning. Mark is know as one of the best on the west coast at tuning LS motors.

Thank you both. I will need one before long. Thought about doing a CAM swap first.... maybe if work keeps up.
