I only have 1 of mine on. Guess I should probably take the other off?

With one on you will go into a spin over 125 mph. You will go airborne at that speed with both off. |

I took off these eyesores and happily accept the resulting mpg loss, if any. The car ain't flying off the road at 150 mph either (I think, how would I know for sure ), but I do have a front splitter that should more than compensate that minuscule extra lift.

You are lucky you put the splitter on when you removed the splats. That saved your life. lol

I like the splats. They are out of the way as much as possible, close to front axel line. I think they keep air turbulence out of wheel area and probably reduce lift. Maybe not as sexy as a splitter but less prone to damage and scrapings. Also much cheaper. Good engineering on GM 's part in my opinion. I don't like the new logo. gm

Just compare these two photos, this is the same car (of mine). A thousand times better with them off.
I understand the purpose and the sacrifice, but they could've designed something much more subtle, say, like those tiny ZL1 splats.

Yes your car is beautiful but I will keep my slats, love that name. I imagine their size makes them effective.
