I’m assuming you installed the phaser limiter kit? If not that could cause some issues I would think.

Yes I installed the phaser kit. Lock with mechanism, Undo specific bolts, insert block reassemble with torque specs, remove lock mechanism. One other thing I’m going to check is if they sent me correct springs with kit, one of the TSP PAC kits says will not work with different LS And any Gen 5 LT1/LT4. Other than that I’m at a loss, I guess I need to remove phaser and check for cam pin sheared even though everything is lining up. Probably will be my luck. Maybe I blipped the throttle to much to burp coolant with just base tune and valve float occurred.?.?

They do this because you get "cam runaway" in the upper rpm even when you're setting it where you want it ito be into the tune. It gets worse when you add boost to the situation.

Well cars in time, I’m back to thinking when the lifters pumped up it blew out one trunnion and with the new stiffer pushrods it held the valves open and bent the valves. When I first pulled off the valve cover every pushrod was solid full lift not one looked like it was a different height. After pulling off the rockers and a day later after I wound in my disappointment from everything and cooled down some. When I went out to car the next day to start pulling things apart, I could actually push the pushrods down in different cylinders again. Does this sound feasible in terms of lifters? I did not know to soak in oil or anything like that I just put some assembly lube on them stuck them in the trays and inserted into engine. Does this make any sense? Also one other question when I take the heads to the machine shop to have new valves done. With new valves do we need to worry about grinding the valve ends to a certain stem height? Is there a specific number I’m looking for with stock heads/pistons. Thanks
