A10 Trans Flush

Have any of you flushed or had the fluid changed in your A10? I know the manual calls for fluid change after 15hrs of track time.

If so, did you do it yourself or did you take it to the dealer?

I took mine a dealer that does a lot of a10's. Then I took it home and performed the GM procedure for checking the level. Sure enough it was overfilled, so let it drain a little and have been fine since.

Never have a transmission flushed. It is a recipe for disaster. Most OEs have denounced auto trans flushing.

That’s my concern. I prefer to do things myself for that reason.

I have changed mine and it isn't a big deal. Just get the correct filter for your model year as they changed in either '19 or '20. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=553829

GM TSB stating not to flush the trans, drain and fill only at recommended intervals

Something else, if you track the car enough to get to the 15 hours regularly.
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...&postcount=114

an easier, less messy, way to drain the trans

Good idea. I probably would have welded the bung on the side to keep it from hanging.
