FYI, before someone changes the rear links to have the holes (vs. drilling), I'd look into bushing durometer even if bolt-to-bolt centerlines are the same as the Camaro which I would assume at least on the 5-V BW.

h018871, as mentioned, be careful on what and where gets directed into the rear area based on the e-brake design differences between the Camaros and then 4/5-V BW's (second small external caliper for the e-brake).

Also, the less nannies on, the less rear brake usage, too. Still nice to have a GM parts bin to play with along with our own needs, tweaks, and ingenuity to suit what we each want.

The next time I replace the rear rotors, I'll get a chance to really look at the PB and where the air will be directed. I agree, don't want tire boogers and rocks getting scooped up into the PB.

The deflectors direct it below the rear external park brake caliper front mounted. The main rear moves position vs Gen 6. No drum in hat rear rotor.

I believe the deflectors pictured at the bottom are the CT5 BW deflectors. Are their part #s?

Post 23 has me stating the bottom is the 5 not 4-V BW. Post 27 for PN’s. They are already on the 22 ZL1 1LE I just got, but I’m keeping the SS track ones on my 17 SS 1LE for now since it’s not as low. Here’s all three on my new car.

The 5-BW deflector appear to focus the airflow at the inner edge of the rotor rather than the wear surface.
I’ll be interested to see if you have outer boots still burning with the new deflectors

I have all the ZL1 1LE aero on the 17, but, it's stock ride height FE4 suspension yet rubs the lower front finger on the SS track deflector as mentioned earlier.

Should be PN's 85536980 / 81.

FYI - on the rear deflectors on the 4 / 5-V BW's, they have external park brake calipers vs. drum-in-hat, so, they can get away with ducting towards the wheel bearing area besides the rotor without worry of debris getting into the drum-in-hat assembly. I'm not putting any of the rears on, and I have never had any rear dust seal heat damage in all the different "flavors" of brakes I have used on my 17 (J6M, J6H, J57).
The one side (85536980) pulls up, but not the other (85536981). Interestingly, the number on the right side deflector can be seen as "84929510" in the Savagegees video.

I only end up needing to change outer dust seals once per year for $10 in a few minutes with my fingers, so, it's a no care if they don't help beyond the SS Track ones.

It'll work

I was doing an after track inspection and looked closely at the backing plate.
All you need to do is trim the backing plate just below the caliper to mimic the area just above the caliper. No way for material to get into the parking brake. Be sure to not trim too much so that you don't uncover the knuckle bushing is the only caution.

Pic 1 is just above the caliper
Pic 2 is just below the caliper

Both are of the driver's side

Keep in mind that this adds a little weight, split between sprung/unsprung...........

FYI - the 22 FE4 (SS 1LE and ZL1) [pictured] and the 22 FEA suspension (ZL1 1LE) both have the CT5-V Blackwing rear suspension front lower link stamping with the holes already there for the brake scoop screws. Both the same PN 85004360. The Cadillac FE4 has a different PN due to a different bushing durometer in all likelihood.

Sorry but as a ZL1/1LE owner, I have to ask - will the CT4VBW or CT5VBW brake air directors work on our cars?

If so, which part numbers should I aim for?
