Static Buzzing Sound Coming from Top of Passenger Dash
Hey everyone, this is my first post on the forums. Recently, I purchased a 2019 Camaro SS and it is making a static buzzing noise seeming to be coming from the front corner of the passenger dash. The noise can be heard changing pitches from time to time and does it when the car is running and also when just the auxiliary is on. Can somebody point me in the right direction to get this fixed?

Do you have 1SS or 2SS and do you have Bose?
This sounds like an amplifier problem. If you have Bose I would check the trunk for signs of water intrusion. if you have aftermarket audio installed by a previous owner, that is a whole other can of worms. |

1SS without Bose. Car is stock with stock speakers and 52k miles. It’s weird though because when the buzzing is happening music will be playing perfectly fine with no issues.

For all new owners in wet conditions check your trunk regularly under the carpet board , water intrusion seams to happen to some cars ,and will ruin the electronics and big $$$, to repair. If all is dry great , your noise blown speaker?

If it is just one speaker and makes noise even when the audio system is "off," it is probably an amplifier problem. You can mess with the audio settings (fader/balance) to see if the noise is truly isolated to one speaker.

Update, have noticed a different, slightly higher pitch buzzing noise that’s gets louder as the car revs up and quiets when revving down. Any suggestions?

Still think it is audio related, change in pitch suggests a possible ignition or charging circuit leak.
