I don't think this is what you think it is.

Does it do it more in colder or wet weather? I have 55k on mine, and it does it mostly in colder weather or wet weather, even making normal what I think to be soft turns.

These cars have a lot of torque and power on the rear wheels even doing what we would consider soft normal turns.

I also notice it does it more when I put my stock wheels back on 275 rear tires. It does it less when I have my 305's on during the summer fall months but obviously temperature dependent. I have heard it with my 305's as well but in every case it was during wet weather. It becomes more common in the winter time as well.

I believe it is stabilitrak. Granted I'm no expert, but I believe it is doing what it is supposed to be doing. At 10k you should not be having any issues with the rear end outside of this.

Worst case scenario, take it in under warranty and have it checked out.

Change the oil in the posi rear end and do not forget to add the posi additive. The moan will be gone.

I would like a recommendation for a brand of fluid for my 2017 SS Camaro. I would like a fluid with the additive and also an additive to eliminate the discs sticking. Thanks.

Stick to the oem fluid. The oem fluid already has the additive in it. When these cars first came out a lot of them had this issue. GM revised the fluid and the fix has been a fluid flush with some figure 8 turns. If your car is still under the powertrain warranty this will be done for free.

I can't argue with the OEM answer but I have come (after many comparisons and many years) to be a Royal Purple convert. Always figured the "Purple" thing to be a gimmick. But after trying ALL the other alternatives, I've settled on RP's 75w-90 gear oil. It also is already formulated for limited slip differentials. It's in my diff and manual trans and gives me the best performance, IMHO, year around- yes, the 6spd is still a PIA to go into 2nd on cooler days, but it as good or better than anything else. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Royal-Pur...b&gclsrc=3p.ds
You'll need about 1.5 quarts for the diff.
And be sure to have one of those hand pumps to move the gear oil up into the differential after you drain it.

Mobil 1 full synthetic 75w90 LS, has the additive in it.
